Bio
Pam graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy.
Pam has worked in the Public School System for over 25 years and has
experience in Therapeutic Day Schools. Pam has extensive experience in psychiatric hospitals as well as mental health centers.
Pam has been an active member of the American Dance Therapy Association for over 30 years. She co-chaired the 1986 conference and was on the Credentials Committee for 4
years. She was president of the Illinois Chapter of the ADTA for 4 years.
She was awarded the “Outstanding Service Award” from the ADTA in 1986,
1994, 1999, 2005 and 2011.
Pam has presented her work with “Stress and Children” at various
conferences throughout the years.
She presented:
“Approach to Schools using Dance/Movement Therapy” at the International
Dance Therapy Conference, Seoul, South Korea, 2013.
“Dance/Movement Therapy to Manage Stress in Children” at the Korean Arts
and Culture Education Services (KACES), Seoul, South Korea, 2013.
